Quran and Ramadan are so related that both may be considered as parables. Allah says describing the Quran, “Ramaḍân is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the standard ˹to distinguish between right and wrong˺…” (quran.com/2/185)

The commencement of Quran revelation was during the Night of the Decree and it is a night from the last ten nights of Ramadan. The worship a Muslim offers sincerely to his Lord on the Night of Decree is described in the Quran as being better than that of a thousand months.
“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months” (quran.com/97/3)

The Messenger of Allah PBUH said, “Whoever fasts during Ramadan” and according to the Hadith of Qutaibah, the Prophet said: “Whoever spends the nights of Ramadan in prayer (Qiyam) out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins, and whoever spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, he will be forgiven his previous sins.” (Sunan an-Nasa’i)

Salah and Quran are used in very similar contexts in the Quran; recitation of the Quran during Salah is the best form for Quran recitation.
Jibril (Gabriel) Peace of Allah be upon him used to annually revise Quran with Muhammad PBUH and during the last Ramadan of the life of the Messenger PBUH, they revised it twice together. Fatima the daughter of Allah’s Messenger PBUH said he PBUH told her, “Gabriel used to recite the Qur’an to me once a year and for this year it was twice and so I perceived that my death had drawn near…” (Muslim)

It is evident from Sunnah that the Messenger of Allah PBUH used to do more than the much he PBUH used to usually do during Ramadan and especially during the Quran revision with Jibril in Ramadan. We as Muslims should follow his lead and sincerely increase our deeds and efforts to Please Allah and gain His rewards that multiply in Ramadan.
The Messenger of Allah said: “On the first night of the month of Ramadan, the Shayatin are shackled, the jinns are restrained, and the gates of the Fires are shut such that no gate among them would be opened. The gates of Paradise are opened such that no gate among them would be closed, and a caller calls: ‘O seeker of the good; come near!’ and ‘O seeker of evil; stop! For, there are those whom Allah frees from the Hell-Fire.’ And that is on every night.” (At-Tirmidh)

Allah, The Owner of Sovereignty, gives honor to what and whom He wills, all the Good is in His Hands. Quran has the honor of Being Allah’s words so all that is related to Quran is honored with it. Ramadan is honored by being when Quran was revealed, so it is the best of months in Islam. Laylatul Qadr; ‘The Night of Decree’ is better than a thousand months of worship; is so because it was honored by being the night on which the commencement of Quran revelation. The example of a Muslim that recites and memorizes Quran is like that of a citron which tastes good and smells good.
To conclude,
Ramadan is the month of Quran which is The Word of Allah; its recitation is a highly rewarded act of worship in Salah or out of it. May Allah make us all of ‘The people of the Qur’an, the people of Allah and those who are closest to Him.’
